MFD codes in Fiat Stilo: Troubleshooting guide

I'm currently trying to write to the MFD.
The areas are clearly defined.
565:00 00 00 00 00 00 00 represents the leading section -> 8 characters.
545:00 00 00 00 00 00 represents the upper portion -> typically, this is the transmitter frequency, consisting of 5 characters.

The content is just really weird.

Here are some examples for address 565:

I just experimented a bit and came up with the following results.

The value A1 in the first byte results in a space character.
However, the last bit of the first byte is also responsible for the second character.

Does anyone here have experience with the PS code or the RT code from RDS?
I know this is off-topic, but I still hope for some help, as I want to write the RDS code via CAN.

Okay, so I've been thinking about something:

The radio always displays 8 characters.

Over CAN, we receive 6 hexadecimal values, each consisting of 8 bits, for a total of 48 bits.

If you use only 6 bits for each character (representing 64 different characters), you can transmit all 8 characters using 48 bits.

Convert the 6 hexadecimal values into binary values, divide them into groups of 6 bits each, and then try to assign these bit groups to individual characters again.

Possibly swap the least significant byte (LSB) and most significant byte (MSB) before converting from hexadecimal to binary (to switch between Little Endian and Big Endian).

Displaying the current MP3 title would not only be a huge undertaking, but I also think it would be too distracting if there was always text scrolling across the MFD (Multi-Function Display).
It would be great if there was an indication of which menu is currently being displayed.

Fuchs has clearly stated that he will not enable sending data from cPOs to the CAN bus due to security concerns. Furthermore, this would only apply to the Stilo; for example, Audi uses a completely different value. In that case, the data is transmitted directly as HEX. Therefore, it's probably not possible to program this in a general way...

Space character = 20 (0x20)
