Hello,

First of all, thank you to everyone for the great information shared in this forum. For someone like me who is relatively new to this (I've mostly used KWP2000 so far), it's a huge help!

I would now like to learn more about D-CAN (which BMW uses), but I can't find any information about it anywhere. The CAN specifications are described in the ISO 15765 standard, but I simply can't find anything about D-CAN.

Can I use standard CAN software like can tool or BusMaster D-CAN to view the data? I'm using a "K+DCAN USB" cable, but unfortunately, it hasn't worked so far. While I can send and receive data directly with it, I haven't been able to simultaneously monitor what's happening on the other side through a Y-cable connected to the OBD connector.

Thank you very much.
