Hello everyone,

I'm currently trying to interface a combination instrument panel from either an Octavia 3 RS or a Golf 5 onto my project bench.

The goal is to integrate this into a racing simulation (Project Cars).

I have already successfully done this with an Octavia 1 AI system, although it was without a CAN bus connection.

For logging, I have a usbtocanv2 and soon the CAN-USB Interface Kit, along with a 2016 Octavia RS. Data will be transmitted later via an MCP/Arduino Mega.

The topic keeps popping up online from time to time, but most people, like me, fail because of the ABS speed signal.

Therefore, that is my initial approach.

I think that's enough for the introductions for now.
