Hello everyone,
'I have a few Comand radios from W203 (facelift) and W211 models that I would like to test. The Comand NTG2 from a W211 requires an ignition-ON signal via the audio gateway to turn on, and I'm not sure about the Comand in the W203 facelift model. Everything I am doing is legal, so please refrain from asking any skeptical questions.'
Can someone please tell me the CAN IDs and bit rates?
W203 - Ignition key on/off, Bitrate.
W211 - Ignition key on/off, Bitrate.
Thank you in advance!
Sincerely,

There probably won't be a source available online for this information, but it should actually be relatively easy to measure the corresponding ID and bit position within a vehicle.
You would need to find someone with a vehicle that allows you to intercept the CAN bus signals.
