Forum Redesign: New Features & Updates

Hello CANhack users,

Oh dear, I've gotten myself into something. I (Rainer Kaufmann) have taken over the domain and the forum from Pow3rus3r.

First, let's talk about the technical aspects: The old forum ran on phpBB3, which, unfortunately, like all phpBB software, was poorly programmed and had many vulnerabilities.
Therefore, I decided to use my own forum software instead of the current phpBB3 release, which, in hindsight, was a very good decision.

The entire database was filled with spam.

If anyone finds anything else, please let me know, as the spammers/spam bots likely didn't adhere 100% to my rules regarding what constitutes a spam message.

"The post text sometimes still contains errors, as do the user signatures. Please correct your user signatures yourself. I will run the post texts through the `strip_html_tags` filter at some point."

Since it is now 1:25, I ask for your understanding and patience regarding the remaining visual and technical imperfections.

Please try logging in. If you have any problems, contact: webmaster at dieselschrauber.de.

Best regards, Rainer.

Hello Rainer,

Good luck with that.

Hmm, actually, it can only get better .

Regards,
Andreas.

Hello Andreas,

Thanks! I underestimated the database mess a bit and have already spent a good 15 hours on it...

But it will be, eventually .

Who exactly is "the fox"? Google (and the user ID in the database) have told me that he is the actual "founder" of CANhack...

Why are his sales offers outdated? Is the product no longer available?

Best regards, Rainer.

Hello Rainer,

Good luck with the forum .
You will definitely read

Best regards.
Maxx.

Thank you for the upgrade .
