Hello everyone,
Besides Can, there are also the 'older' protocols.
How much more difficult is the work, for example, when using k-line?
Is it still worth the effort, or is it 'dead'?

K-Line has not been state-of-the-art since the year 2000. With the legal introduction of OBD, diagnostics primarily run via CAN, and K-Line was originally intended for that purpose only.
In some cases, K-Line could also be used for applying data, but with the introduction of the CCP/XCP protocol, this functionality has largely shifted to the CAN bus.
