Ohm's law What is the effect of two resistors connected in series?

For the motor CAN, there are two 120-ohm resistors. For the interior CAN, it's more complicated, as there are devices with and without resistors, and not all of them are 120 ohms. However, this only applies to the VAG group; I have no idea how other manufacturers do it, and someone would have to buy me a car to find out.

Hi, if it were parallel, then it would be 60 Ohms , but I didn't measure anything... so it's probably wired, but not connected, or something like that.

I thought that there should be 120 ohms within the device, and then another 120 ohms at my end, at the connector, when I plug it in, because the bus is terminated with 120 ohms on both sides.

I will now start looking for where the CAN bus is located in the Lupo, if it's not at the OBD connector... but there's still tomorrow .
