CAN Bus Ignition: Remote Start & Wake Up

I'm new to this forum and have a question. I work in the automotive industry, dealing with CAN bus systems and related issues, but mostly for troubleshooting. I have very little to no knowledge of data analysis or programming. I'm having the following problem.
'We have encountered situations where the keyless entry or electronic key system malfunctions in some vehicles, for example, Audi A6 models from 2005 onwards. I need to tow the car, but the steering remains locked, as does the handbrake, etc. I can get inside using the remote control and key. However, I cannot get the car onto the tow truck. If I have VCDS, I might be able to use the '05 Authorization' function to make the car rollable or drivable. The repair itself is a separate issue. My question is: Is it possible to send a CAN message via the OBD port and a program (e.g., CAN Hacker) to activate the ignition? This applies not only to Audi, but also to BMW, Opel, etc. What I know is that the CAN bus at the OBD port is the high-speed bus where all relevant control units are connected. I once tried reading data from the OBD port, copying it, and sending it again, but I didn't achieve anything.'

That's not possible. The ignition switch is a safety-critical component and mechanically switches from position 15 to position 31.

However, the KL 15 status can be retrieved via CAN, but that won't be of any use to you.

However, that is possible. The ignition starter switch is neither a fuse nor safety-critical, which can be seen from the fact that many modern vehicles no longer have one.
There must be a mechanical protection that prevents unauthorized operation. In Mercedes vehicles, it's the parking lock; in Smart cars, it blocks the gear lever; and most vehicles have a steering column lock.

You can activate terminal 15 through diagnostics; this already works with Mercedes, BMW, and Tesla (personally tested), but these are manufacturer-specific diagnostic services, not those specified in the OBD protocol. It functions via actuator diagnosis, which is also something that VCDS can do.
