Needle sweep on Audi A4 B7

Hi all, sorry my post is in English as I don't speak any German.
Im seeking help trying to accomplish needle sweep with an Arduino and can bus shield on an Audi A4 B7 dashboard. Im facing a few problems, first wich Can port on the dashboard should I connect to? There are 4 different Can ports
Convenience CAN High
Convenience CAN Low
Infotainment CAN Low
Infotainment CAN High
CAN drive Low
CAN drive High
CAN diagnosis Low
CAN diagnosis High
Can I connect using the obd2 diagnostic port?
Second what is the can address for Speed and RPM?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

you can talk to the dashboard via all listed CAN. However, the "sweep" function should be something, which is configured in the dashboard itself.
You can use e.g. VCDS to configure it accordingly.

Thank you for the reply. The sweep option cannot be done via VCDs on the A4 B7. But I have been able to communicate with the dashboard and do the needle sweep via the can bus.

You mean the dashboard does not support the sweep configuration option and you sent something like fake rpm messages?

Exactly. RPM and Speed. Still in the process of tunning because RPM is moving faster the Speedo.
