What's up with the CAN USB adapter?

After reading many posts on the subject, I still...
A few questions.

My 'hardware':
Audi A2, 1.2 TDI, manufactured in December 2003, with a Chorus 2 radio, and equipped with a car PC and an 8' TFT screen. In addition, there's a custom-built control panel with a 2*16' LCD screen and 10 buttons for audio (Winamp) control.

1. Is it possible to display Winamp information (title, artist, etc.) on the head-up display (HUD) using the adapter?

'Would it be possible to repurpose the buttons on the radio that are unused when the CD changer is in operation (since only the Line IN is being used) to control Winamp functions such as play/pause, fast forward, rewind, next album, and previous album?' In conjunction with CPOS, of course.

3. Which general parameters/values have been 'decoded' and successfully transferred to the FIS (Fault Information System) so far?

I have more questions, but I would be grateful if these could be answered first.

This doesn't directly answer your question regarding... CAN, but there is a USB2CDC interface that allows WinAmp and WMP to be controlled via the CD changer buttons:

While CAN commands should also exist, as the MFL (multifunction leather steering wheel) can control the CD changer via LIN to the steering column control unit and then via CAN to the radio, the solution described above already exists and could serve as a starting point.

I also spent some time with Dmitri about half a year ago.

That thing was expensive for me back then.
The price has now been reduced to $69 8 plus shipping.
Perhaps an alternative.

I would be interested in hearing Fuchs' opinion on my questions.
