Hello.

I'm still working on building my own MFL (multifunction leather steering wheel), so I can connect it to the car without having to replace the slip ring or steering control unit.
Okay, I've received my MFL, S4 B7, and it looks great.
A microcontroller (uC) is used for the buttons and wheels, which communicate via LIN. Does anyone know which commands are being sent and received, and how those commands are structured?
So, the one from the LIN bus to the steering wheel control module?
Sure, no problem. Here's the translation:

'Thank you in advance.'

PS: With my uC AT90CAN32, I can already send commands via CAN to the radio upon button press, which then adjusts the volume, etc. icon_wink.gif

I've connected the button module to 12V, and after about 2 seconds, the LEDs turn on, but nothing happens on the LIN bus. I assume that a communication link needs to be established first. Without LOG, I probably won't be able to proceed further.
If nobody has something like that, I will either have to borrow an Audi or remove all the electronics and have to process the buttons and encoders myself.
