Access CAN bus in 2-series BMW and Golf Sportsvan

Hello everyone,

I would like to read the engine CAN data from a BMW 2-series and a VW Golf Sportsvan (signals in descending order of priority: accelerator pedal position, brake pressure, torque, engine speed, acceleration, speed, and hazard warning light status). The INCA measurement system and database are available, but I don't know the exact location within the vehicle where the corresponding CAN lines are routed, in order to tap into them.
Does anyone have information about the location of...? B. Where is the most easily accessible connector in the vehicle, and which cables/pins can be found for CAN High/Low?

I recommend using the diagnostic gateway for the Golf; all the buses converge there. In the Golf Sportsvan, it *should* be located under the panel to the right of the steering column. "No warranty, I have never had a vehicle like this before."
