Audi A4 8k CAN Matrix

Hello everyone,

I worked hard and created my own matrix, but it probably still has some errors and unidentified IDs. Two DBCs (Data Bus Connectors) were created, one for the powertrain and one for comfort features.
Here is the Excel CSV file as an excerpt .

Do you have a more recent version of the file? Specifically, I am looking for the IDs/bits that are triggered when the alarm system is activated.

In the screenshot, you can see the radio station. Under which IDs can you find it? You list 605 and 606 as MMI; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to associate anything with that.

I found the following discussion related to the 490. The sender names are included in a multi-packet. The first byte contains '2' in the high nibble, indicating 'more packets will follow,' and '1' in the low nibble, indicating 'end.' A sequence number in the lower nibble.



The length of the data appears to be 3 in the first message. To be byte-sized again...

2nd and 4th byte of the 1st. 'Message' might refer to some kind of font information.

I'm going to run a data dump and see what I can find out from more data. Hmm, the radio station data is transmitted via MOST, assuming it's installed?

For my purposes, I have identified the IDs of some of the keys. They are super easy to find in the can tool Monitor while you are using it .

Which CAN channel are you watching?
Of course, the information flows between the Gateway and the MMI over the MOST bus. Between the gateway and the instrument cluster on the chassis/body CAN.

Okay, then it's clear. I'm currently using the Comfort CAN system.
