RKS+CAN Installation Package - CAN Bus Interface with comprehensive software package

The attached installation package for the RKS+CAN CAN interface at the end of this topic includes KCANMonitor, KOBD2Check, and KDataScope for Windows, a VCP (Virtual Com Port) driver, and the WinUSB driver setup.
In addition, Zadig will be installed, which installs the WinUSB driver for RKS+CAN on Windows XP.

The drivers are pre-configured during installation, so that KCANMonitor and KOBD2Check can be used directly. Therefore, we recommend using this package during commissioning.

Of course, other software can also be used, but this is how everything works for now.

Important Note: On some buses, a large number of messages can appear very quickly. In the trace view, one or more IDs can be copied from the top right to the selection list on the right (click on the ID in "Known IDs" and use the ">>" buttons).
Then only those will be displayed.

Within the connection settings, a hardware filter can be configured so that the RKS+CAN does not need to send unwanted CAN messages to the computer in the first place.

If an internet connection is active during the scan, newer ECU software versions and changes to the software will be displayed.
- April 18, 2018: KOBD2Check updates to support longer calibration IDs and CVN. Basic track-in-use performance data available.
- May 29, 2018: KCANMonitor, update for improved performance, asynchronous interface command handling, voltage display on the interface (if supported by the interface).
