I just registered on this forum as well, after ordering the interface. (It's still on its way).
My most important project currently involves my electric vehicle components. Initially, the focus will be on reading the CAN commands from the Battery Management System (BMS) and sending signals to the chargers. Furthermore, both my motor controller and the charging socket only operate using CAN signals.
I'm new to this field, and I'll probably have a lot to learn.
Best regards from Duisburg.
Michael.

Is there a user manual for the software?
I'm having trouble with the Send and Replay tool right now. Probably, the signals are not being sent.

Hello,
The operation is actually very intuitive. Do you want to respond to incoming messages in the Send and Replay View, or simply send messages?
There are three types of entries in the list:
- Normal: The defined message is simply sent, and a specific time can be configured.
- Periodic: A defined message is sent periodically every x milliseconds.
- Trigger: When a message is received that meets the trigger conditions, the defined message is sent.
When taking a screenshot, after clicking "Send All," the message with CAN ID 0x200 is sent first. Subsequently, incoming CAN messages with the ID 0x243 will trigger the transmission of a message with the CAN ID 0x336.
Similarly, an incoming message with CAN ID 0x300 will send a message with CAN ID 0x336 but with different data.
Best regards, Rainer.

Thank you.
I wasn't sure about the trigger, but I don't need it right now anyway.
Shouldn't a message that I send using "Send and Replay" also appear in the Trace Monitor? It doesn't do that for me, and my charger isn't working either.

Yes, she would have to. The direction arrow would then be reversed. Could you please post a screenshot or your file, and explain what should happen?
Best regards, Rainer.

Sorry, I haven't been paying attention to this for a while.
I've found the error now. Since I want to send the ID 0x1806E5F4, I need to switch to a 29-bit ID.
I want to send the values for current and voltage to my charger so that it can start the charging process.
