Volvo - CAN-Navi issue: Who dares?

I came across this forum while searching for a solution to my CAN bus problem, and I hope you can help me.

I have a car without a CAN bus, but I have a Volvo navigation system with a CAN bus lying around.
Consisting of: Navigation computer, screen, wiring harness, control panel.

'Additionally, I also have: Dietz video input modules, a small CAN bus simulator for Audi Chorus2 (ignition and light signals)...'

Here's a detailed list of signals:

At the navigation system:
30,
Mass,
CAN-H,
CAN-L

The screen receives:
2x30,
15,
2 times the mass.

From navigation system to screen:
Color signal: red, green, blue (separate).
Mass video signals.
Screen synchronization.
Video signal display.
Signal remote control for the screen (digital, 38kHz carrier wave when the remote control is pressed).
SERIAL BUS TO DISPLAY (Digital, Half-duplex, Start-Stop-Synchronization, 2400 bps)

If everything is connected to mass, 15, and 30, the monitor motor will briefly hum. Turning it on via Facebook is not possible.

I once manually extended the screen, then applied power, and it popped back in - so it seems to be working...

I also integrated the CAN simulator, but it was obviously addressing the wrong things (it was worth a try).

Who knows the addressing code for this device (likely from a Volvo S60 MJ 2003) to power it on initially? Which simulator is affordable and recommended?

Since the vehicle speed is also apparently transmitted via the bus, using it as a navigation system seems unlikely, right? Because then, you could try to emulate the signal: 'SERIAL BUS TO DISPLAY' and, with the Dietz adapter, at least be able to use the monitor...

Interestingly, there's a large Mitsubishi logo embossed on the main circuit board of the navigation computer .

Hello, this thread is quite old, but: has anyone ever looked into the workings of the navigation system's computer in the Mitsubishi Volvo?

I'm not ordering my Volvo yet, but I need to order the navigation system with it. However, since it's considered significantly worse than current mobile navigation apps or smartphone software, perhaps I could find a more useful purpose for the money. Is a Linux derivative being used?

You can forget about it. According to my research, it's easier to either replace the RTI with a carPC or directly replace the HLDF with your own screen/tablet, etc.
