Octavia 2: How to turn on the sound system

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the sound system in my O².
The amplifier is turned on by the radio via the CAN bus. If you want to install a different radio or the navigation system, it won't work because the amplifier is simply muted without the CAN signal.
Does anyone have an idea or a circuit design that I can use to "generate" this power-on signal?
It should be technically possible, as Dietz offers a CAN adapter that can activate the sound system. a) It's too expensive (250 euros), and b) it's too complicated because it also provides all the other tax signals for the radio.
I'm envisioning a "simple" CAN generator that only produces the power-on signal.
Building the hardware wouldn't be a problem at all, but the software – if it's needed – is something I'm having a bit of trouble with.

There's "just" an Atmel chip with a CAN interface inside.
The rest is software.

Okay, I'm now building the same thing for a Climatronic control unit .

For this purpose, AVRs with CAN are quite well suited .
