RNS-E CAN Bus Errors: Troubleshooting Guide

I installed an RNS-E in my Altea, and everything is working great so far. My question is, does anyone know the codes for activating the button illumination?
The display lighting controls via the brightness adjuster on the dashboard work, but when the lighting is turned on, the illumination of the buttons does not activate. I can rule out a hardware defect on the circuit board. I believe the problem is that I am missing the correct message on the CAN bus.

The buttons of the RNS-E are illuminated via ID 635.

635 3 00 00 00 Turn off the light, dimming to 100% (completely dark).
635 3 64 00 00 Lights off, dimming at 0% (fully bright).
635 3 00 64 00: Turn on the light, dimming to 100%.

If messages are already arriving at the RNS-E with ID 635, they should be blocked, otherwise the RNS-E display will start flickering (due to the constant change in brightness).

By the way, the above applies to an A4 8E B6/B7. In other Audi models (especially the A3 8P and A4 8H), this may look different.

If messages are already arriving at the RNS-E on ID 635, then these messages should be blocked.
