Hi,
I am looking for a CAN2CAN gateway with a minimum of 2 output ports and 2 input ports, supporting a data rate of 500 kbit.

The gateway should only:
- Set an OUT signal on CAN-A based on incoming messages.
- Based on an input signal (IN), modify a message on the CAN bus and set an output signal (OUT).
- Based on a message received on CAN-B, modify another message on CAN-B and set an output.

If possible, a ready-made hardware solution.

Does anyone know of a simple solution?

Do you have any tips?

Best regards, C1500.

I don't have a ready-made solution.
For example, there is a FEZ Panda II interface with 2 CAN ports.
You would then need two CAN transceivers for that.
There are more than enough I/O ports available.
You can program this device using C# with the Micro Framework.

Have you found anything yet?

I'm currently considering whether or not to start a project.
As a starting point, my circuit could be based on:

to serve.
I would remove the I2C bus and replace it with a second MCP2515 + ATA6660.

The relay, LCD, and RS232 interface would ideally be kept. (It can't hurt icon_smile.gif).

Bye.
Andi.

Hi Andi,

It would be a good foundation for your project icon_smile.gif.

Hi,
After analyzing a lot of data, I realized that the current plan was a bit 'over the top.'
I had already decided to go with an LPC P2129.
However, since I didn't have any experience with ARM7, it felt like a huge challenge.
He had exactly what I was looking for.

However, my problem has now been reduced to a single CAN port.

Currently, only the following function needs to be implemented.

1. IF (A1=1) {433 8 00 00 00 20 00 0A 00 00 cyclic, every 2000ms}
2. IF (1E6 Bit 19, 28, and 31) {B1 = 1 ^ 433 8 00 00 00 20 00 0A 00 00, cyclic every 2000ms}
3. IF (433 Bit 25) {B2 = 1}

And all of this with just a single CAN port.

While both sides are sending ID 433, the test with the laptop just now didn't present any problems.

Does any of you happen to have something ready that might be useful?
I'm feeling a bit lazy to solder icon_wink.gif and calculate right now.
When I say 'finished,' I mainly mean the area from the CAN termination resistor (or CAN cable) to the microcontroller.
So, maybe an MPC2551 and possibly an AVR on a circuit board?

Outputs B1 and B2 must switch relays (opencollector?).
The operating voltage should be adjustable between 9-15V.

Best regards, C1500.

Unfortunately, I don't know of anything that's ready-made and doesn't require soldering.
