Which OBD-USB adapter for a Seat Ibiza 6J, manufactured in 2009?

Hello,

I would like to purchase an OBD connector to perform diagnostics, including reading and clearing error codes, and possibly reset the service indicator.

Now I've seen that there are different connectors/modules/protocols/connectors/etc. for this (with CAN bus, without CAN bus, OBD, OBD2...).

What type of USB connector would you recommend? I have an old laptop with Windows XP that I'd like to use as a base. It shouldn't be too expensive, and I only need it for personal use at home and when visiting friends.

Sure, just drive to the ! Or buy a Trabant 601 Deluxe; you don't need a diagnostic system for that.
