Alarm system signal readable?

Hey everyone,

Briefly put:
- Is the parking warning system signal (assuming the car has a parking warning system) transmitted on the CAN bus? And if so, which one is it usually transmitted on?
- Can it be read through the OBD2 port (in theory)?

I haven't found anything useful so far, except for the information that the DWA battery signal is on the CAN bus, which is at least a starting point (see http://www.canhack.de/en/viewtopic.php?t=1987&highlight=dwa).).
If anyone is interested, I'd be happy to explain more about why I need this information, but I also don't want to bother anyone unnecessarily .

Probably yes.

Typically, this data can be read out via diagnostic blocks through the corresponding control unit. However, since this requires replicating various protocols, it is likely not a practical approach.
It would be more reliable to tap the signal directly on the respective CAN bus.
