Mercedes CLA: CAN Bus Multimedia System

I have some questions regarding the CAN bus in the CLA, or possibly in Mercedes vehicles generally.
Maybe you can help me with something .

Can I access the multimedia CAN bus through the OBD2 port to control functions like the radio, such as volume up/down, next/previous song, etc.?

If not, what options would I have?

Currently, I have an EML327 Wifi adapter, but I'm getting a buffer overflow when reading the CAN messages, which is why I can't even tell if I'm on the correct bus. Which adapter would you recommend? It can be wired .

I want to develop my own radio control system.

Possibly access to the central locking system will be available later as well.

Do you think I can start by using the OBD2 port, or should I immediately tap into the RX and TX lines of the COMAND controller?

It may be necessary to directly tap into the corresponding CAN bus, for example, at the radio or gateway.

For your project, locate the ID sniffing functionality by looking behind the radio. On the FAKRA connector, pin 11 (brown/red wire) is CAN HI, and pin 9 (brown wire) is CAN LO. The baud rate is 125 kbps. Good luck.

You won't be able to access the radio signals through the OBD port because a CAN gateway is in between, which simply doesn't route those signals.

You would need to tap the signals directly from the Multimedia CAN bus, which operates at 125 kbaud in Mercedes-Benz vehicles with an OSEK NM system.
