Hello,

I have a WTT-V SH installed in my Ford. Now I'm looking for the CAN messages for the heating commands, as I want to build my own control system for it. I'm familiar with W-Bus, but I would prefer to use CAN instead.
I've already tried scanning the bus, but I can't find the IDs.

Are the ECUs pre-programmed with manufacturer-specific software, resulting in different CAN IDs across various systems?

If the messages themselves are at least similar, even a trace that only contains the SH data would be helpful to me. Then I could search for it in my documentation... the commands probably won't be specific to a particular vehicle manufacturer.

If it's a factory-installed auxiliary heater, the information provided is at least different for Audi, Mercedes, and Renault.

You can easily identify this with Webasto by looking at the spare part number. If it has a manufacturer-specific number, the corresponding software is manufacturer-dependent.
