Questions about RKS+ hardware

I have a few questions about the RKS+ CAN adapter.

- Am I correct in assuming that this is a USB to OBD cable?

- Is there a version with a standard CAN pinout (9-pin Sub D)?

- Is there galvanic isolation?

- Does it support CAN FD (ISO)?

Hi,

Yes, it's USB to OBD-2. It comes with a 9-pin cable with a Sub-D connector and an OBD-2 connector, allowing you to connect the Sub-D9 connector as desired.


- Is there galvanic isolation?
No, a USB isolator is available as an optional accessory in the shop. That's a good point for a bundle offer.

CAN-FD is not supported, but there may be a hardware update in the future.
