EXLAP Protocol - VW

Hello, as usual sorry for writing in english.
Did you know EXLAP protocol? It's designed to provide connection between the car and for example mobile device like iPhone or android phone. Good examples are Skoda Smartgate Apps or VW Media Control and Drive & Track. I'm planning to start an opensource project to provide EXLAP service for PQ platform cars. It should be easy, because protocol details are known. EXLAP server should be a gateway between CAN BUS of the car and the client(s) connected eg. via WiFi. In my opinion the case is worth trying, because we have apps already made. We only need to feed them with proper data. What do you think about it?

I could provide neccessary hardware in very short time.
