I need a CAN database for different vehicles for a project. It's a device that reads CAN messages and sends them to a backend via UMTS. Therefore, I need the CAN database on the backend to translate the data. Do you know where I can obtain such a database? I am also willing to pay for it.

We actually need DBC files from various manufacturers. The device reads CAN information, but unfortunately, we can't understand the meaning of that information. Therefore, we need a database to understand the meaning of all the CAN messages.

Can you help me with that?

You won't find a database like that. Car manufacturers keep this information to themselves. While there are always individuals in various forums who try to decipher the data through reverse engineering, it only captures a portion of the information on the CAN bus.
Therefore, things probably look rather bad for you.
