Hi!

I'm currently in the process of pairing my original Bluetooth hands-free system with my car PC. I have a Mictronics USB CAN interface and the software Cpos.
So far, I have been able to respond to events from the FSE (e.g., incoming calls, doorbells), and also query the current signal strength of the phone.

ID 0x665, 7 bytes.
Byte 1: FSE mode (connected, in phonebook, etc.).
Byte 2:
Byte 3:
Byte 4.
Byte 5: Mobile network signal strength.
Byte 6:
Byte 7:
Byte 8:

What I'm still missing is a battery status indicator. However, I'm not even sure if the original navigation system (RNS-E) in these models has such a display.

It would also be interesting to know how the RNS-E transmits a phone number that has just been dialed. Furthermore, transferring the phonebook and call lists would be desirable features.

Perhaps someone has a configuration file (trace) for an Audi A4 B7 / Seat Exeo with the original Bluetooth hands-free system and RNSE radio that they could share with me.

Thank you in advance!

Hello,
I hope I'll have time in the coming days to record a trace for you.

Greetings.
Jens.

Hello.

Check out the IDs:
0x6D2
0x6D5
0x63B
0x66F

These are the 4 IDs that the Battery Management (BT) unit uses to communicate with the rest of the car.
The communication there can be quite intense, but it's easy to understand.

In the 0x665 value you mentioned, bytes 4 and 5 are still representing the provider in bits 0 through 11.
However, it is encoded using BCD (Binary Coded Decimal), but you can find a list of the corresponding values online.
