Help with automatic transmission CAN-bus on a VW Passat

Good evening everyone, and a warm hello to you all. I wanted to introduce myself; I'm from the lovely town of Celle, near Hanover, and I hope to get a little help along the way.
My goal is to decipher the data traffic, specifically the CAN-bus messages, between the engine and the transmission in a VW Passat 3BG, model year 2001, with a 2.5 V6 TDI engine, all-wheel drive, and a 5-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic. I want to find out what data is being sent to and accessed from the transmission.
I'm completely new to this area and I hope someone can take a few minutes to tell me what I need and how I can achieve my goal.

Just power the automatic transmission control unit and see what's being transmitted on the bus?

Then you can remember the IDs and see what happens during operation.

You need to find the pin assignments in the Elsawin system or by searching on Google .
