DSG Controller: Upgrade Your Dual Clutch Transmission

I'm new here and I hope you can help me because I'm more of a hands-on, technical person, but now I need help with electrical issues.

As the title suggests, I want to install a DSG transmission into a vehicle without a CAN bus, which is why a control unit (ECU) is needed. Is this something that can be achieved?

im Wesentlichen sprechen sich das Motorsteuergerät und das Steuergerät vom DSG über CAN ab, was jeweils zu tun ist.
Ohne entsprechendes Motorsteuergerät und damit Motor sehe ich das Vorhaben als chancenlos.

Hi Rainer, I think it should be possible to convert the signals from the existing systems and get them onto the high-speed bus system via the gateway. We could replace the inductive sensors with sensors from a newer vehicle to obtain the speed and RPM signals. We can also determine the gear shift pattern of the transmission. However, the overall interaction is still uncertain.
