Hello,
The RKS+CAN CAN interface is powered either from the USB port or from the OBD2 connector.
The OBD2 connector is designed for 12V diagnostic ports; 24V diagnostic ports are different and cannot be used. The +24V must not be connected to the +12V terminal on the CAN interface!
It doesn't really matter, depending on what you want to do: An OBD2 adapter that matches the interface is included with the CAN interface, and of course, you can connect CAN-H, CAN-L, and ground to the desired buses in the truck. The onboard voltage of the respective vehicle then becomes irrelevant.
