Electronics project: Reading and displaying CAN bus motor data

Hello everyone.
Ich möchte ein neues Elektronik Projekt anfangen. Bin Elektroniker, Entwickele die Hardware, und Programiere (AVRs mit Bascom) selber. Ich möchte eine ELektronik entwickeln die die einige Motordaten ausliest, via RS232/USB/Bluetooth an ein Display Schickt.Ich möchte erstmal meinen Opel Vectra B auslesen. In der Hardware sehe ich kein Problem, nur das Vertändnis des CAN Busses fehlt mir. IIs there anyone among you who knows how to read the CAN bus and would be interested in working on this project with me?
If it turns out well, it could potentially become a circuit board/kit or something similar that would be available to everyone.

Does the Vectra already use CAN for diagnostics, or is it still using the K-line? Or even J1850, considering that GM is the parent company?

I'm quite sure that the Vectra B has a CAN bus system. The Vectra is from the year 1996. There's also an OBD-2 connector located under the handbrake.

The Vectra B does not have a CAN bus for diagnostics.

"This only applies if you have an NCDR+CID(+CDC) installed. These components communicate with each other via CAN bus (at least in the Astra G)."
