What hardware should one reasonably use when reading and analyzing a comfort CAN bus in a Golf VI using an Arduino Uno?

Hello,

You'll have the least amount of effort if you use a CAN shield that already has a software package for the Arduino.

Since connecting an MCP2515 is relatively simple and there's already a corresponding library available for Arduino, you can use any hardware you like.
