iDrive Controller: BMW ZBE4 Wake Up Fix

Hello everyone,

I am currently converting a BMW ZBE4/ZBE06 iDrive controller into a USB input device.
Unfortunately, the CAN communication has changed slightly compared to the previous ZBE3 generation, and I'm having trouble finding the correct CAN wake-up message.
Unfortunately, the ZBE4 is no longer responding to messages from the ZBE3.

Here is some information about the hardware:

• ZBE-06-TC from a G11.
  
• HW: 02.01.01
  
• SW: 02.0B.00
  
• 08/23/19.
  
• Connection to K-Can4.
  

Does anyone happen to have a trace diagram for the K-CAN4 module? Relevant models would likely include the G01, G02, G11, G30, G31, and G32.

Alternatively, perhaps someone knows the corresponding Wake-Up ID/message?

0x510, count, 0x42, 0x69, 0x8f, 0xE2, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00

0x03c, count, count, count, count, 0, 0, 0x0A, count.


0x510 is WUP.
0x03c represents the ignition signal (byte 6/0x0A).
Tested on a G30 speedometer.

"Count" refers to counters that range from 0 to 15 or 0 to 255, but I'm not sure which one it is in this specific case.
