ID für Geschwindigkeit beim A4 B6 vs. B7

Hallo,

weiß jemand ob die CAN-ID für Geschwindigkeit auf dem Antriebs-CAN beim B6 und B7 gleich sind? Falls nicht, wie lautet diese beim B6 und wie beim B7?

It should be the same since B7 is mostly a B6 facelift (exterior and cosmetics upgrades).

From my B7 (8EC) 2007 I've found speed in these frames.

Cid #280 (8bytes) engine bus
B0 - pedal states
B1 - RPM lsb
B2 - RPM msb
B3 - Kmh (speed)
B4 - pedal state in %
B5 -
B6 - torque ?
B7 -


Cid #320 (8bytes) engine bus
B3 - kmh

The calculation for RPM is:

(B1+(B2 << 8 ))/4

Speed and RPM can however be found in other CID's as well but these are the most priority ones since they are sent directly from ECU.

How are you able to recognize, WHAT Can-Node is sending WHICH ID's....?

By removing a control unit from the CAN bus and checking which messages disappear.

on internet you can find a lot of documents, where you will find this information. i.e. 0x*A0 are from ABS.. 0x*20 from instrument cluster and etc.
