"Hello. I'm new here and have a question. I installed an Android radio in my Opel Combo, manufactured in 2015. The problem is: the mileage display flashes = CAN bus error. The steering wheel remote control only works intermittently! When opening the door, and when locking with the remote control, the radio turns on briefly and then off again. When turning on the ignition, the radio turns on normally. How can I possibly eliminate the flashing of the mileage display, and can I permanently teach the C-B adapter all its functions? In the workshop, whether Opel or Fiat, there is no solution, only always a bill."

If everything was working properly before the radio was disassembled, it's usually quite easy to isolate the source of the problem.
The radio is obviously causing interference on the network. This can be due to physical issues (termination problems, baud rate mismatch, bus-off errors, etc.), or the data content may be incorrect.
Do you have the ability to measure something on the bus?

Unfortunately, I don't have that option. But today, the radio just turned off on its own. I have no idea why. I guess I'll have to send it in for repair. What a pain!
