Hi.
I will first read through the threads a bit, but if anyone already has experience with the BionX CanBus, they are welcome to give me tips.
I know that it mainly involves automotive systems, but ultimately electronics is just electronics, and I hope that BionX has adhered to some standards.
My first goal is to sniff the CanBus, after which the hard work of decoding the messages begins.
Once this is accomplished, the next step will naturally be to develop a real-time analysis tool to understand how the system works exactly, i.e., which messages are sent at what time, and how the communication between the motor, battery, and console takes place.
Finally, it would of course be nice to also send my own messages on the bus

.
This whole thing has more of a 'hacking' background than a real-world application and should simply satisfy my curiosity.
Regards, rac
PS: I have put information and pictures about my bike in my wiki (https://www.2030.tk/wiki/Bionx) if anyone is interested..I'm going to read through the threads a bit first.I know that it mainly involves car systems, but ultimately, electronics are just electronics, and I hope that BionX has adhered to some standards.
