CAN Bus: Alternative uses for rear wiper control

Hello, I'm new here and don't really know much about the system, but since 'nette' and Bosch couldn't help me, I'll try my luck here. I no longer have a rear wiper, but the control lines for the CAN bus are still in the trunk. Now, I would like to simply connect a ground signal to this line when I push the wiper towards the front. Is that possible? Would my controller recognize it if I installed a different circuit board...? It would be great if someone could help me with this. Oh, and I drive a Polo 9N3. I don't think the windshield wiper is connected to a CAN bus. It's probably controlled by the central electrical system. Please double-check that.
