hi,
I bought the interface some time ago, but I never had the time to use it.
Today, I plugged it into my vehicle and wanted to take a look at the data using the KCanMonitor software.
The interface only recognizes one ID. See the image.
I've tried different bitrates, but it only reads with a bitrate of 500000 and only recognizes one ID.
Vehicle: Volkswagen Passat B8, manufactured in 2015.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
Which CAN bus are you connected to? I would say it's incorrectly connected with the wrong bitrate.
Best regards, Rainer.

How can I possibly connect it incorrectly? I plugged the interface directly into the OBD socket on the vehicle.
The KOBD2Check recognized the vehicle identification number (VIN), but was unable to read any error codes.
Under the "Values" section, I was able to read temperature, speed (or RPM), and some other data points.

Okay, I understand now. Since I have a VW, I need to tap directly into the CAN bus either at the gateway or on the line itself. I've done that now, and it worked.
Thank you...
