Only one CAN ID - Note regarding CAN FD

We have been reading certain data from the CAN powertrain and CAN comfort systems in Audi vehicles for years. However, with a 2024 model year vehicle, I am now only seeing one CAN ID on the CAN powertrain. This ID is also displayed as "Extended." It cannot be due to the bitrate, as I have tried all available options.
Could it be that Audi has switched to CAN-FD in the meantime, and this is causing this effect?

Since the Volkswagen Group has been using CAN FD for quite some time, it is very likely that Audi also uses CAN FD. So yes, Audi uses CAN FD in its newer models. Seeing a CAN 2.0 message is normal.

At Mercedes, for example, the NM message is transmitted on the CAN FD network as a CAN 2.0 frame. The CAN FD protocol allows for mixed operation.
