Hello everyone,
For our experimental setup (university), we are using a headlight with AFS (from a Tiguan). Currently, we are faced with the question of whether to develop our own stepper motor control for actuating the tilting and beam adjustment mechanism, or if we can use the original AFS power module (7C6 941 329 B). In the latter case, we would need the CAN messages that are transmitted on the lighting CAN bus between the AFS control unit and the AFS power module. Fortunately, this control unit is widely used (also in Golf 6, A3, Octavia, Superb, etc., and likely others), so there's hope that someone has already recorded some of the communication on the bus.
Is there anyone here who has ever experimented with the lighting CAN bus?
I look forward to every response!
PS: I hope this fits into this category, because at least the central AFS control unit is connected to the powertrain CAN bus.
