Hello,
I am currently in the process of converting my Citroen Xantia to use the 2.2 HDi engine from a Citroen C5.
I will also be taking the instrument cluster and other components from the C5.
Since the Xantia has a central hydraulic system and doesn't use brake fluid, I can't use the ABS module from the C5, which means I'm missing the speedometer signal.
Until then, I had no problem

, but the engine is now running without any issues.
In the wiring diagrams for the Xsara, I discovered that it uses the same MSG unit, and it has an analog speedometer input. I thought I had solved the problem, but unfortunately, that's not the case. I tested it today, and the MSG recognizes the speed signal, but it doesn't pass it on to the speedometer.
Okay, here's the translation:
"Now, my question is: Does there exist a CAN bus adapter that can convert the analog speed signal into a CAN bus-compatible signal?"
It would be best if it also included a connection for the ABS control light.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards, Eric.
