Mercedes S 500 mileage read via CAN

I am looking for information about the mileage data transmitted via CAN bus in a Mercedes S-Class vehicle. I need the ID, start/stop byte/bit, and possibly the multiplier value.

If no one can help me with this, where can I find the CAN connector in a Mercedes vehicle so that I can potentially connect to it myself if necessary? Is it possible to access it via OBD? ^I'm not very familiar with this area.^
