VW Touareg: Read V6 TDI Mileage via CAN

I am looking for information about the mileage data transmitted via CAN bus in a VW Touareg. I need the ID, start/stop byte/bit, and possibly the multiplier.

Is it true that everything is the same regarding the CAN bus in VW vehicles? I know that in a VW Golf and a VW Caddy, the mileage is stored in CAN ID 65D, bytes 1-3. Can anyone confirm this?

If no one can help me with this, where can I find the connection point in the Touareg so that I can connect something myself in an emergency? Is it possible via OBD? I'm not very familiar with that.

The mileage is indicated in 0x65D.
Located in bytes 2 through 4, bits 0 through 19.
Resolution: 1 km.
Therefore, only whole kilometers will be displayed.

The bytes are combined as follows:
Byte4.Byte3.Byte2.

So, bit 0 is in byte 2 (the rightmost byte), and bit 19 is in byte 4.

I checked it on a Golf 6... everything is correct .

I can't find the ID 0x65D in my logs. I'm monitoring the CAN bus for display and control functions. Does anyone have a list of IDs for my car? Has the ID list changed in other CAN buses, for example, the comfort CAN bus?

In high-speed buses (powertrain and cluster bus), the desired ID is 0x7d0. In the comfort bus, the ID carrying the mileage information is the same as in the infotainment bus (0x65d). Regards, Michal.
