EXLAP Protocol - VW

Hello, as usual, I apologize for writing in English.
Did you know about the EXLAP protocol? It's designed to provide a connection between the car and a mobile device, such as an iPhone or Android phone. Good examples include the Skoda Smartgate apps, the VW Media Control app, and the Drive & Track app. I'm planning to start an open-source project to provide EXLAP service for cars on the PQ platform. It should be relatively easy, because the protocol details are known. The EXLAP server should act as a gateway between the car's CAN bus and the client(s) connected, for example, via WiFi. In my opinion, this is worth trying, because we already have existing apps. We just need to feed them with the correct data. What do you think about it?
