W211 and CAN-USB Interface Kit with RKS+CAN

Hello everyone here,
"I have a 2002 W211 220CDI. Can I use the interface mentioned to read data from my vehicle? Is this data identical to the CAN protocol used in newer models?"
I installed a Cinaradio. Since my car had an AudioGateway, I had to connect the speakers from the trunk. However, I can't figure out where to find the CAN bus connection at the front of the radio. I currently have it connected to pins 2 and 10 (J1850 Bus) on the OBD diagnostic connector. Unfortunately, there is no function with the volume buttons, and the button learning feature doesn't work either.
I would appreciate any information on these topics.

Hi,

J1850 has absolutely nothing to do with CAN, and I also doubt that connecting to the diagnostic CAN at the OBD2 connector will lead to success.
Besorge Dir Stromlaufpläne und Reparaturleitfäden für Dein Fahrzeug und finde den notwendigen CAN-Bus. Was CAN überhaupt ist, ist auch hilfreich zu wissen, dann verbindet man es auch nicht mit J1850...

The CANBUS wires are located at the AGW (Advanced Gateway Unit) in the luggage compartment, and they are connected to the MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport) connector. The brown/red wire is CAN High (CANH), and the brown wire is CAN Low (CANL).

The baud rate for the W211 is 83.3 kbps.
